Resources and Downloads

These resources are free to download and use. Each one covers a clinical concept that comes up regularly in therapy: feelings identification, nervous system responses, betrayal trauma patterns, and the window of tolerance. They are psychoeducational tools, not a substitute for individual clinical care.

The Feelings Wheel
A three-tier visual tool for identifying and naming emotions. Start at the center with a core feeling and work outward to find more specific language for what you're experiencing. Useful in session or on your own.

DARVO Reference Card
An overview of DARVO — Deny, Attack, Reverse Victim and Offender — a response pattern documented by psychologist Jennifer Freyd. Describes what each stage looks like and why recognizing the pattern can help reduce confusion and self-doubt.

Window of Tolerance
A visual overview of the three nervous system states — hyperarousal, the window of tolerance, and hypoarousal — including what each zone feels like physically and emotionally. Adapted from Dan Siegel's framework. Useful for understanding your own stress responses and recognizing when you've moved outside your window.

Nervous System States
An overview of the four threat responses: fight, flight, freeze, and fawn. Covering what each state feels like emotionally, how it shows up in the body, and how it tends to affect behaviour. Useful for understanding your own reactions during and after stressful or threatening situations.
